Born on December 9, 1952. He graduated in 1975 and obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, in 1992.
He attained the title of Scientific Associate in 1996.
He is a member of the Engineering Chamber of Serbia (IKS), the International Desalination Association (IDA), and an honorary member of the University of Tallinn.
He received a gold plaque for his exceptional contribution to the construction of the TE “Kosovo B” 2×339 MW power plant, marking its transition to regular production.
He was awarded the annual prize by Energoprojekt for the best professional achievement in 2001.
He was a lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Priština from 1983 to 1990, teaching courses in Steam Boilers and Refrigeration Systems.
He is the author of several manuals and textbooks on boiler systems.
He has authored over 80 scientific and professional papers published in renowned domestic and international journals and has presented at numerous professional meetings, conferences, and symposiums both in his country and abroad.
His primary specialization includes steam boilers for power plants and seawater desalination facilities.
He began painting in September 2021, using watercolor techniques. In March 2024, he organizes an solo exhibition titled “SOME NEW WORLD” at the Energoprojekt Gallery in New Belgrade.
At the Energoprojekt gallery space, the second solo exhibition by Dr. Zoran Mićević, titled “Harmony in Watercolor,” was held in November 2025. The exhibition presented a new phase of the artist’s creative work, in which the relationship between inner peace and external beauty is explored through delicate watercolor strokes.
